Housing

International exchange students can choose between two housing options: living in a student residence hall or in a private accommodation. Faculty of Law does not provide student accommodation.

Student Residence Halls

Exchange students coming to Zagreb may choose between organized accommodation in 3 student residence halls. Students that consider getting an accommodation in some of the student residence halls, need to apply for it personally. As the number of beds available for exchange students is limited, vacancies will be determined on the “first-come, first-served” principle.

Students may choose a residence hall from the 3 ones given below:

  • STUDENT RESIDENCE HALL “DR. ANTE STARČEVIĆ”

Private Accomodation

Students who are not interested in staying at student residence halls, need to look for alternatives such as private rental accommodation.

International students will have to organize accommodation by themselves, i.e. look for a private rental accommodation option. Rents vary greatly according to location, room size, etc. Utilities expenses are sometimes included in the rent price, and sometimes paid by the consumer directly. Payment is usually expected at the beginning of the month, while some landlords request payment for several months in advance.

The best way to search for private rental accommodation are various web sites such as:

  • Airbnb
  • Njuškalo.hr
  • Rentalica
  • Rent In Zagreb
