Associate Professor Dora Zgrabljić Rotar graduated law at the Faculty of Law in Zagreb in 2007 as one of the top 2% of students of her generation. During her studies she received the Rector's and the Dean's Award. After that she worked in practice for two years. During that time she spent a year working as an associate in Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer law office in Vienna. She works at the Faculty of Law in Zagreb since 2009. She obtained her LL.M. degree cum laude at the University of Pittsburgh in 2012, and her PhD degree at the University of Zagreb in 2015. She was a member of the work group constituted with the aim to draft and negotiate the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council on the law applicable to the third-party effects of assignments of claims. Since 2017 until 2020, she was an Appointed member of the Foreign Affairs Committee at the Croatian Parliament and she is currently an Appointed member of the European Affairs Committee at the Croatian Parliament. She is the co-chair of the EAPIL Young Research Network. She is an arbitrator at the Permanent Arbitration Court at the Croatian Chamber of Economy.
