Knowledge and understanding

After successfully completing the course, students will be able to:

1. Describe the occurrence and early development of the organisation theory and integration of classic school of organisation and human relations

2. Name and distinguish basic directions and approaches to the study of organisation theory and their main representatives and postulates

3. Explain the structure of organisation, especially its types, factor of influence and cooperative relations

4. Describe and explain phenomena of organisational communication and decision-making in an organisation.

Application

After successfully completing the course, students will be able to:

1. Interpret postupates of different directions of organisation theory

2. Demonstrate the influence of different organisational variables on the organisational structure

3. Use acquired knowledge about different organisational variables in practical work

4. Select and apply theoretical settings about organisational communication and decision-making in an organisation.

Analysis

After successfully completing the course, students will be able to:

1. Distinguish basic directions and approaches to the study of the organisation theory

2. Connect organisational variables and analyse their interdependence

3. Analyse the phenomenon or organisational communication and its influence on organisational structure

4. Solve concrete problems by an application of theoretical settings about decision-making in an organisation.

Synthesis

After successfully completing the course, students will be able to:

1. Collect data and distribute concrete administrative organisations according to models of different directions of the theory of organisation

2. Organise elements of organisational structure appropriate for realisation of certain organisational aims

3. Formulate conclusions about interdepdnence of different organisational variables

4. Propose application of different types of decision-making to concrete organisations.

Evaluation

After successfully completing the course, students will be able to:

1. Examine basic settings of different directions of the theory of organisation

2. Evaluate appropriateness of the application of settings of individual directions of the theory of organisation to concrete organisations

3. Compare models of organisational structure adequate for the realisation of certain organisational aims

4. Set priorities in changing individual organisational variables.

Practical and Generic Skills:

After successfully completing the course, students will be able to:

1. Publicly present acquired learning outcomes;

2. Actively folow and analyse the development of different settings of the theory of organisation ;

3. Adequately present and express their own standpoints and opiniins about different organiosational variables and their implications on concrete organisations.

Knowledge is tested by oral examinations or optionally, by mid-term exams and oral examination.
