Description
The aim of this course is to give an overview of interconnectedness of law and economics and various impacts that they have on each other, especially regarding the economic consequences of legislative and judicial decisions.
Teaching units: Central Concepts of Economics, The Modern Mixed Economy, Basic Elements of Supply and Demand, Perfect vs imperfect Competition and Monopoly, How Markets Determine Incomes, The Labor Market, Land, Natural Resources, and the Environment, Government Taxation and Expenditures, International Trade, Overview of Macroeconomics, Measuring Economic Activity, Game Theory, Economic Growth, The Challenge of Economic Development and Growth, Third World Countries and Their Development Challenges, Exchange Rates and the International Financial System, Open-Economy Macroeconomics.
