Description
In terms of knowledge, it is expected that students will be able to understand and explain theoretical foundations of casework, and be able to assess advantages and disadvantages of different approaches in concrete work on a case. In terms of skills, it is expected that following the course students will be able to recognise and decide about choosing specific methods and techniques of the casework in the direct practice; depending on the type of issue, to estimate the applicability of individual procedures in casework and to adhere to the ethical standards of the practice.
The following values are developed and nurtured within the course: professional values of social work, respecting and accepting differences (gender, national, religious, social), users? perspective and work on personal development.
