Description
The aim of the course is to gain knowledge about criminology as a scientific discipline, including its subject, qualitative and quantitative methods, definition and relationship with other criminal sciences. Recognize and identify key features of emerging forms of criminal behavior (criminological phenomenology) and group criminological theories in the context of space and time of their origin and development. Students will critically evaluate and recognize measures and strategies for combating criminal behavior and understand and explain the latest empirical knowledge in the field of research on criminal behavior, their perpetrators and victims in the context of society and the criminal justice system.
